LEATHERHEAD are part of the new generation of Greek heavy/speed metal bands that have already begun attracting attention well beyond the country’s borders. Hailing from Larissa, the band made a strong impact with their self-titled debut album in 2024, before raising the bar with “Violent Horror Stories” (2026), a darker and more aggressive release that firmly established their horror-infused heavy metal identity.

Drawing strong inspiration from the American speed/thrash sound of AGENT STEEL, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, OVERKILL and METAL CHURCH, while adding their own distinctive horror-themed aesthetic, LEATHERHEAD have quickly earned a reputation as an outstanding live act thanks to their energy, musicianship and professionalism.

On Friday, September 11, they will open the Rock Hard Festival Greece, setting the tone for the entire weekend and showing why they are widely regarded as one of the most promising bands in the Greek metal scene, with all the potential to make a name for themselves on the international stage as well.
